Bundle 4 - Rescue Diver & EFR Course

First you receive 1 nights training in the Emergency First Response Program (EFR) - You will learn to use an Automated External Defibrillator & Provision of Emergency Oxygen and a full first aid programme designed to provide the life saving skills necessary in the event of both Scuba and non-diving related medical emergencies.

Next you complete your independent home study of the Rescue Diver Manual and completion of Knowledge Reviews.  Home study is then followed by an academic classroom knowledge development session (Saturday starting at 10.30a.m.) followed by confined water training at Maidstone Leisure Centre (Saturday starting at 5.30 p.m.).  Confined water rescue training will be followed by practical assessments in open water with staged scenarios.

On qualifying you will receive PADI Rescue Diver Certification (a prerequisite for all PADI leadership programmes).
