Going on holiday? Want to learn to dive in the UK but would like to complete your open water dives in your chosen holiday resort? Then opt for the PADI REFERAL Open Water Diver Course. This option ensures you do not waste your holiday inside a classroom or training pool whilst on holiday! The referral course is for those who are going on holiday and would like to complete the Open Water dives at your holiday destination. A deposit of £24.95 (refundable) is required against the FREE loan of the PADI Go Dive DVD.
The PADI Open Water Referal Curse is divided into 3 areas:-
- Pre-course independent home study with your (included) DVD and Open Water manual (we will send these to you by post when you book your course online). The 5 knowledge reviews in the course manual MUST be completed prior to your classroom session.
- Classroom session. In Maidstone - Normally on Saturday mornings. Start at 10.30a.m. - Finish around 2.00pm.
- Confined Water Training (swimming pool sessions) at Maidstone Leisure Centre on Saturday & Sunday Start 3.50pm - Finish 9.00 pm. Typical group size is 3 to 4 student to each instructor.
Following your class and pool sessions we will issue you with a PADI REFERAL FORM to take with you on holiday to complete the Open Water dives at another PADI Centre at your holiday destination.

Fully Inclusive price includes:- Full training all academic materials, crew pack, all equipment hire, air fills, start up log, swimming pool fees & issue of PADI referal form.
A FREE 1 to 1 catch-up session will be included for any student requiring additional coaching on Sunday

Learning Agreement
Course Pre-requisites
- No diving experience necessary
- Minimum age: 10* - No upper age restriction.
- Able to swim 200 meters any style
- Able to tread water/float for 10 minutes
NOTE:- * Students between the ages of 10 to 15 will receive a PADI Junior Open Water Diver certification on completion of training. Junior Open Water divers between the ages of 10 and 11 years may only dive with a PADI Professional, a certified parent or certified guardian to a maximum depth of 12 metres. From age 12 years and above depth is limited to 18 mts.
